A reflective note: 

This was my first submission to the Ludum Dare game jam. Great execution, but took the theme so far to the extreme to the point where it sacrificed any fun the game could have had. I do not recommend playing unless you like playing games blindfolded, but as far as making the game it was a great learning experience of working in a theme, and for 48 hours total of development time I feel that my workflow has greatly improved.

Basically just the rage game equivalent of an easy to learn; hard to master mobile rts. Bad controls, but the game isn't bad outside of that. Again, unless you like arthritis, carpal tunnel, and visualizing the entire game because decent ui and decent input is behind a paywall than don't play.



Orb Override is a short and simple real time strategy game where the goal is to claim all of your enemy's orbs. However, you start with nothing but a command line to try and navigate the virtual space. Find an enemy, claim a nearby orb, and then try to prevent your enemy from taking over the system.

To capture new orbs from your claimed orb, you need to select an orb you own, then select an orb you can target. Peeps will be transfered from your selected orbs to your target orb, and if you have enough Peeps, you will take over the orb.


This was a fun lil game to make as I haven't programmed in C# in some time, but Unity got me back into it. I hope it is as fun for you to play as it was for me to make. (It isn't)
